Tilted Mash August Newsletter
Hot August nights are upon us!! The final hoorah of summer before heading into the Autumn season. So let's fill up those days with some excellent local brew and great events.
Where We've Been...
July was a whirlwind of a month for us, so we'd like to take a moment to take it all in. Tilted Mash Brewing took home the Bronze Award at the California State Fair Commercial Brewers Competition for our Summer in the Grove Pale Ale. We also entered our beers in the Amador County Fair Commercial Beer Competition. Summer in the Grove placed 3rd in the Pale Ale category and Eskimo Brothers Coffee Milk Stout placed 2nd in Stouts.
We are truly grateful for the reception and recognition we have received from the beer community. From the mentions in the Sacramento Bee to all of the support we've received on our social media, we are proud to be a part of the growing Sacramento craft beer industry.
Where We're Headed...
August is going to be a great month with favorite beers heading back to the tap and some great events.
It's A Celebration!!
Come by on Friday August 5th and hoist a pint as we'll be unveiling our first award at the brewery. Pop up restaurant, Purple Pig, will be on site to serve up their amazing menu.
That same evening, we'll be at Amazing Lash Studio celebrating their Grand Opening. We'll be serving up some our Bronze Award winner Summer in the Grove and Parental Responsibility during the festivities.
Back by Popular Demand
Liz Harrington will be back at Tilted Mash for another Paints and Pints night. Bring your friends to the brewery on Sunday August 21st from 12pm to 2pm and join Liz as she helps you paint a wonderful piece of art to take home. Ticket price includes a pint of any Tilted Mash beer on tap. Tickets are available at: Eventbrite.com
That pineappley yumminess you've missed is in the fermenter at this very moment. That's right!! White Gummy Bear Saison will be making a comeback to the taps this month!!
Now That's Fresh...
Tilted Mash has teamed up with local hop grower, United Hop Farm, from Yuba City. In an effort to bring a locally grown product into our system, these Fresh Cascade Hops were picked in the late afternoon and went into the Brew within hours. A special release event for this beer will take place Labor Day weekend with specialty glassware to celebrate the return of hop growing to the Central Valley.
