Brrrrrrrr!! If you haven't noticed, it's cold outside!! This is the perfect weather for drinking belly warming beers. We're excited give you a peek inside our rolling warehouse doors to see what the Tilted Mash crew has been up to at the brewery. We'll let you decide if they've been naughty or nice.
Winter is HERE!!
Winter in the Grove made its debut taking the tap over from its sister beer, our Award Winning Summer in the Grove. Beer fans loaded up on Limited Edition crowlers and waited anxiously for the winning can number to be announced on our Facebook page for a limited edition Tilted Mash T-shirt. Congratulations, Tim Greer!!
The highly anticipated Barrel Aged Booty Rye Porter aged in rum barrels hit the taproom on Black Friday. To make this beer even more amazing, we introduced 3 VERY distinct variants: Cojito, Caribbean Coffee, and Tart Cherry. Patrons were able to enjoy this barrel aged beer in 4 different ways. Like all good things, these variants did not last. Barrel Aged Booty is still available and on tap now in our taproom.
Tapping Into Local Homebrew Contest UPDATE
In conjunction with Brewmeister Homebrew Elk Grove and Flatland Brewing Company, we participated in the Tapping Into Local Homebrew contest. We chose the style of Belgian Dark Strong for our recipe category. After all the entries were judged, Thaddeus Brewington Splint with his offering of Smooth and Dangerous was the winner. Turns out Thaddeus is Mike Splinter who joined us in our Brewhouse with Andrew and Sean to brew it on November 21st. Expect a release party at both Flatland and Tilted Mash January 2017!
Pimpin' (Beer) Ain't Easy
When we're not on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, updating our TiltedMash.com
website, or putting together this FABULOUS
newsletter; we have been fortunate enough to be featured on other platforms. Jonathan and Derrick were guests on the Barley and Me Podcast for Episode 36, which is available here: http://apple.co/2eB9cuh
. Kyle and Jonathan took the show on to Studio 40. Here is that link: http://fox40.com
Not only did they flash their pearly whites, they did a great job representing Elk Grove and Tilted Mash.
